Hattie was born almost exactly 3 months ago as I write this. She had a great bath tonight with Brynn to recreate a little mother/daughter womby bonding. People have told us "oh, you'll get to know what each cry means" and I thought they were just being pretentious, but it's true! She's got a cry/scream that is definitely not "I'm hungry." It's 10 times as loud and it's "I'm in pain," which really means, "I have gas" or "I have a big burp." She'll have to get over that one before she enters the dating scene! And I swear she had an entire conversation with Brynn's nipple this morning, changing facial expressions and cooing (the nipple was remarkably stone faced). Well, here are some pictures, all of which were taken today, as she sails past what some hipsters call "the fourth trimester." We love you, Mushy Girl!
Cherish this age, in a few short months your cuddly dough baby will be using you as furniture and a jungle gym. She's a beauty.
