We went to Babies R Us and got some "child proofing" products. That place is gross, though. I don't know why. It just is.
"The Dining Room" closed last weekend after a nice run. Those Beloit students are good people and they did a great job. I also gave blood for the first time last week. I'd been scared of needles in the past, but I decided I should just do it. Our friends James and Rebecca are coming to visit us for Thanksgiving and arrive tomorrow with their son, Sam. When I called James to tell him that Brynn was pregnant, he told me that Rebecca was, too. So we're excited for Sam and Hattie to finally meet!
Picture Time!
The post-bath reach-down!
Bundling up for the cold weather
This is a new rug we got, where Hattie spends much time with her toys. She really does entertain herself much better these days.
I was leaving and this was the mother-daughter connection I saw when I came in to say goodbye. Cheek to forrid.
Another common sight: Brynn ready to catch a few more Z's and Hattie ready to Par-tay.
See why we need to child-proof the house?
SHE'S WITH HER DOGGY FRIENDS HERE!
She looks so mature in her high chair-thing.
Today Hattie just started drumming away with her rattle and a bowl. It was like the beginning of a Tom Waits song.
Must have more pictures! Must have more of those cheeks! Must have more Johnny and Brynn and Miss Hattie in my life! <3

ReplyDeleteLove your story-telling style. And she is absolutely a chunky cutie! Mine is two months now and weighs in at 16 lbs, so the chunky comment is all about love. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
